Intro to Defensive Pistol
This course is designed for new pistol permit holders or firearm owners who want to build a strong foundation before advancing to more demanding defensive training.
Students will learn the essential fundamentals required to safely operate and control a defensive handgun.

- Proper grip, stance, and recoil control
- Sight alignment and trigger control
- Introduction to drawing from a holster
- Introduction to pistol malfunctions
- Introduction to combat reloads
- Basic defensive shooting concepts
This course is ideal for students who have recently completed the NYS 18-Hour CCW course or anyone looking to strengthen their handgun fundamentals.
