Since 1991
Trinity Tier One Tactical is led by Mike Donnelly, a retired NYPD Detective, licensed private investigator, and certified firearms instructor with decades of law enforcement and investigative experience.
During his career with the New York City Police Department, Mike served as a Detective assigned to elite enforcement units within the Detective Bureau, where he was responsible for locating and apprehending violent offenders, conducting high-level investigations, and operating in fast-moving and high-risk environments that demanded sound judgment, discipline, and tactical decision-making.
Drawing from real-world law enforcement experience and practical tactical skills developed throughout his career, Mike brings a professional, safety-driven, and reality-based approach to firearms training.
As a certified firearms instructor, Mike believes responsible gun ownership begins with proper education, preparation, and training. At Trinity Tier One Tactical, students receive more than just classroom instruction — they are taught the knowledge, mindset, and responsibility necessary to become safe, competent, and confident firearms owners.
